Skövde IBF was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2017. They participated with 12 teams in Pojkar 11, Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13, Pojkar 14, Pojkar 15, Flickor 13 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. The team in Flickor 14/15 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Fröjereds IF by 2-7.
In addition to this, Skövde IBF have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2016, Skövde IBF had 8 teams playing in Pojkar 11, Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13, Pojkar 14, Flickor 12 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. Two teams played until Semi final in Slutspel A; Flickor 12 lost against IBK Lockerud by 0-1 and Flickor 14/15 lost against IBK Lockerud by 2-3. Skövde IBF originates from Skövde, which is the same city as where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide five additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2017 (Skara IBK, Fröjereds IF, IBK Lockerud, Tibro IBK and Stöpen IBK).
