Fröjereds IF was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2017. They participated with 6 teams in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13, Pojkar 15, Flickor 12, Flickor 13 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. Three teams played until Final in Slutspel A; Flickor 12 won over Bergs IK by 3-0, Flickor 13 won over Bergs IK by 5-2 and Flickor 14/15 won over Skövde IBF by 7-2.
In addition to this, Fröjereds IF have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2016, Fröjereds had 7 teams playing in Pojkar 11, Pojkar 12, Pojkar 14, Flickor 12, Flickor 13 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. Four teams played until Final in Slutspel A; Flickor 12 2 won over IBK Lockerud by 6-1, Flickor 13 won over Sportlife Kungälv IBK by 7-2, Flickor 14/15 won over IBK Lockerud by 2-1 and Pojkar 14 lost against Karlstad IBF by 3-5. Fröjereds comes from Tidaholm which lies approximately 26 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Tidaholm does also provide five additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2017 (Skövde IBF, Skara IBK, Fagerhult Habo IB, Tibro IBK and Stöpen IBK).
