Skara IBK was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2017. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13 and Pojkar 15 respectively. The team in Pojkar 15 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Västerhaninge IBK by 1-3.

In addition to this, Skara IBK have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2016, Skara IBK had 4 teams playing in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13, Pojkar 14 and Pojkar 15 respectively. The team in Pojkar 15 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Band won it over FBC Hjälmared by 5-2.

Skara IBK comes from Skara which lies approximately 24 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Skara does also provide five additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2017 (Skövde IBF, Fröjereds IF, Vara IBK, Stöpen IBK and IBK Lidköping).
