Stöpen IBK was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2017. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 12 and Pojkar 14 respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Gränna AIS by 0-8.

In addition to this, Stöpen IBK have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2016, Stöpen IBK had one team playing in Pojkar 13. The team in Pojkar 13 made it to the the 1/4 Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Hovslätts IK by 2-5.

Stöpen IBK originates from Skövde, which is the same city as where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around skövde does also provide six additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2017 (Skövde IBF, Skara IBK, Fröjereds IF, IBK Lockerud, Tibro IBK and BK Halna).
