IBF Backadalen was one of 36 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2024. They participated with four teams in Pojkar 12, Flickor 12 and Flickor 13 respectively. The team in Flickor 13 made it to the the Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Jönköpings IK by 2-3.

IBF Backadalen comes from Göteborg which lies approximately 130 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide four additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2024 (Stenungsund IBK, Ale IBF, Kärra IBK and FBC Lerum).
