IBK Lockerud was one of 47 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2019. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 14, Flickor 12, Flickor 13 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Karlstad IBF by 5-6.

In addition to this, IBK Lockerud have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2018, IBK Lockerud had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 13, Pojkar 14, Flickor 11, Flickor 12 and Flickor 13 respectively. The team in Flickor 13 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Band won it over Hovslätts IK by 5-2.

IBK Lockerud comes from Mariestad which lies approximately 35 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. Other than IBK Lockerud, the club Skövde IBF does also originate from the area around Mariestad.
