Floda IBK was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2017. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 12 and Pojkar 13 respectively. The team in Pojkar 13 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Karlstad IBF by 2-3.

In addition to this, Floda IBK have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2016, Floda IBK had two teams playing in Pojkar 11 and Pojkar 12 respectively. The team in Pojkar 12 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Fagerhult Habo IB 1 by 2-3.

Floda IBK comes from Floda which lies approximately 110 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Floda does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2017 (IBK Alingsås, IBF Backadalen, Kärra IBK, Rydboholms SK, Sportlife Kungälv IBK, IBF Göteborg, Öckerö IBK and Sandareds IBS).
