Sportlife Kungälv IBK was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2017. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 12 and Pojkar 14 respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 made it to the the Bronze match in Slutspel Aand won it over Åsbro GoIF by 6-5.

In addition to this, Sportlife Kungälv IBK have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2016, Sportlife Kungälv IBK had 6 teams playing in Pojkar 11, Pojkar 13, Pojkar 14, Flickor 13 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. The team in Flickor 13 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Fröjereds IF by 2-7.

Sportlife Kungälv IBK comes from Kungälv which lies approximately 120 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Kungälv does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2017 (IBK Alingsås, IBF Backadalen, Stenungsunds IBK, Kärra IBK, Floda IBK, IBF Göteborg and Öckerö IBK).
