IBK Lockerud was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2017. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13, Pojkar 15, Flickor 12 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. The team in Flickor 14/15 made it to the the Bronze match in Slutspel Aand won it over Onsala IBK by 4-0.

In addition to this, IBK Lockerud have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2016, IBK Lockerud had 4 teams playing in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 14, Flickor 12 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. Two teams played until Final in Slutspel A; Flickor 12 lost against Fröjereds IF 2 by 1-6 and Flickor 14/15 lost against Fröjereds IF by 1-2.

IBK Lockerud comes from Mariestad which lies approximately 36 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Mariestad does also provide four additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2017 (Skövde IBF, Tibro IBK, Stöpen IBK and BK Halna).
