Onsala IBK was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2017. They participated with 6 teams in Pojkar 11, Flickor 12, Flickor 13 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. The team in Flickor 14/15 made it to the the Bronze match in Slutspel A, but lost it against IBK Lockerud by 0-4.
In addition to this, Onsala IBK have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2016, Onsala IBK had one team playing in Pojkar 12. The team in Pojkar 12 made it to the the 1/4 Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Fagerhult Habo IB 2 by 1-4. Onsala IBK comes from Onsala which lies approximately 150 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Onsala does also provide three additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2017 (IBF Backadalen, IBF Göteborg and Åsa IF).
