In addition to Karlstad IBF, 15 other teams played in Pojkar 12. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Karlstad IBF could be found in Group D together with Husqvarna IK, Lindome IBK and Skövde IBF.

Karlstad IBF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Hultsberg IBF Vit with 1-4. In the Final, Hultsberg IBF Vit won over Hultsberg IBF Svart and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 12.
