Åsa IF was one of 47 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2020. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 15, Flickor 13 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. The team in Flickor 13 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against IBK Kungälv by 1-5.

In addition to this, Åsa IF have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2019, Åsa had two teams playing in Pojkar 14 and Pojkar 15 respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Karlstad IBF by 1-3.

Åsa comes from Åsa which lies approximately 150 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Åsa does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2020 (Warberg IBF, Frillesås FF, Eken IBK, Onsala IBK, Träslövsläge IF, Veddige IBK and Kinna IBK).
