In addition to Hovslätts IK, 21 other teams played in Pojkar 12. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Hovslätts IK could be found in Group D together with Hjulsbro IK 1, Billingsfors IBK, Skövde IBF Röd and Onsala IBK Svart.

Hovslätts IK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Bankeryds SMK Blå with 1-2. In the Final, Bankeryds SMK Blå won over IBK Vänersborg Röd and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 12.
