Hovslätts IK was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2018. They participated with 6 teams in Pojkar 11, Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13 and Flickor 13 respectively. The team in Pojkar 13 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Aand won it over Fagerhult Habo IB 1 by 4-2.

In addition to this, Hovslätts IK have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2017, Hovslätts had two teams playing in Pojkar 11 and Flickor 12 respectively. The team in Flickor 12 made it to the the 1/4 Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Ekeby IF by 1-2.

Hovslätts comes from jönköping which lies approximately 75 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around jönköping does also provide six additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2018 (Barnarps IF, Fagerhult Habo IB, Gränna AIS, Jönköpings IK, Bankeryds SMK and KFUM Jönköping).
