Ekeby IF was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Flickor 12.
In addition to Ekeby IF, 9 other teams played in Flickor 12. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Ekeby IF could be found in Group B together with BK Halna, Träslövsläge IF 1, Onsala IBK 2 and Bergs IK. Ekeby IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 5:th place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Träslövsläge IF 1 with 1-2. In the Final, IBK Lockerud won over Träslövsläge IF 1 and became the winner of Slutspel B in Flickor 12. Ekeby comes from Kumla which lies approximately 110 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place.
