In addition to IBK Vänersborg, 21 other teams played in Pojkar 12. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IBK Vänersborg could be found in Group E together with Fritsla IF, Stöpen IBK, Kärra IBK and KFUM Örebro Innebandy.

IBK Vänersborg continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group E. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Sportlife Kungälv IBK 2 with 2-5. In the Final, Sportlife Kungälv IBK 1 won over Sportlife Kungälv IBK 2 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 12.
