IBF Backadalen was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2018. They participated with two teams in Flickor 13 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. The team in Flickor 13 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Onsala IBK by 0-3.

In addition to this, IBF Backadalen have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2017, IBF Backadalen had one team playing in Pojkar 13. The team in Pojkar 13 made it to the the 1/8 Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against IBK Vänersborg 2 by 1-7.

IBF Backadalen comes from Göteborg which lies approximately 130 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2018 (Floda IBK, Kärra IBK, Ale IBF, Varla IBK, Onsala IBK, Marstrand IBK and Pixbo Wallenstam).
