Åsa IF was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2018. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 14 and Flickor 11 respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 made it to the the 1/8 Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Sandareds IBS by 3-6.

In addition to this, Åsa IF have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2017, Åsa had one team playing in Pojkar 12. The team in Pojkar 12 made it to the the Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Gränna AIS by 0-6.

Åsa comes from Åsa which lies approximately 150 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Åsa does also provide five additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2018 (Träslövsläge IF, Veddige IBK, Varla IBK, Onsala IBK and Pixbo Wallenstam).
