IBK Lockerud was one of 49 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Sibben Cup 2018. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 13, Pojkar 14, Flickor 11, Flickor 12 and Flickor 13 respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 made it to the the 1/4 Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Tibro IBK by 3-4.

In addition to this, IBK Lockerud have participated in Sibben Cup before. During Sibben Cup 2017, IBK Lockerud had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13, Pojkar 15, Flickor 12 and Flickor 14/15 respectively. The team in Flickor 14/15 made it to the the Bronze match in Slutspel Aand won it over Onsala IBK by 4-0.

IBK Lockerud comes from Mariestad which lies approximately 35 km from Skövde, where Sibben Cup takes place. The area around Mariestad does also provide four additional clubs participating during Sibben Cup 2018 (Skövde IBF, Stöpen IBK, Tibro IBK and BK Halna).
